Elder James Timpson, Stewardship Leader
What is a Steward?
Webster defines steward as "One who manages another property."
STEWARDSHIP involves the 4T's of Life
-
TIME
-
TALENT
-
TEMPLE
-
TREASURE
The only area of the Christian life you can't fake is STEWARDSHIP.
You can fake witnessing, prayer, evangelism. Open your checkbook and it will reveal what type of steward you are. It is the story of our lives. It tells of our values. How much we save. What we spend. To whom we give. It tells us more about our priorities than does anything else. It acts as a spiritual barometer.
Do you feel like you're behind the 8 ball when it comes to your finances?
Are you swimming in debt?
Are you juggling many bills?
