Weekly Fasting Schedule

Download 40 Day Fast Booklet

For the whole 40 days we are to be fasting from meat, dairy, sugar, and all refined products, i.e. white rice, bread, etc. We also encourage eliminating TV for 5 days per week except for spiritual shows or music, and praying at least three times per day. Commit to praying at least 30 minutes each day. Writing out your prayers and journaling could prove to be extremely powerful and beneficial. Prayer will be held at the church Sunday-Friday for the entire 40 days from 12p.m. – 1p.m.

Week 1:

Juice Fast: fruits juices, vegetable juices and water

Week 2:

Fruit Fast: fruits only, preferably fresh, organic (no canned)

Week 3:

Vegetable Fast: vegetables only, preferably fresh, organic (no canned)

Week 4:

Fruits & vegetables

Week 5:

Fruits, vegetables & whole grain bread

Week 6:

Fruits, vegetables, soups, whole grains & nuts
